Cozy Kennebunkport Night

Cozy Kennebunkport Night, was a painting idea I created while visiting this little town in Maine. I envisioned this fairy tale like snow scene from imagination, and by experimenting with another blue on my palette. Prussian Blue was used a lot, when I first began painting in the 70’s. It is a color gaining popularity now for snow and ice scenes. It is a rich, dark blue perfect for creating this night scene with glowing windows.
