Tower 3 Ventura Harbor Beach

A place I used to visit often was Ventura Harbor Beach. It was the perfect beach to take photo references for creating studio paintings. I love life guard towers and this one is perched on a sand dune overlooking the brilliant blue ocean and sky. There is a lot of blue in this painting, and maybe it is a bit loud, but I really wanted to capture the feel of that day. It was literally, that vivid.
